God create man in a perfect world. Man worshipped God in a perfect environment.

But that is not the way it is right now because man decided to obey the lie from Satan that he could become like God and choose to disobey God by eating the forbidden fruit. God drove the man and women from the garden and placed a curse on the world. This curse in evident in illness, war, crime and other evils. Man is also condemned to die and be separated from God. It is appointed to man to die and face judgment from God.

God is a merciful God and provided a way of redemption. He came as man in Christ and lived a perfect life. He was condemned unjustly and died a horrible death taking our sins upon him. He rose from the dead on the third day to claim victory over the curse and death on the behalf of man. He now reigns with God. Christ will return in the future to establish his kingdom on earth.

We can choose whom to serve. We can choose our own way, be our own ruler and face God’s judgment. Or we can choose to submit to Christ, accept his sacrifice for our sins and be forgiven and reconciled to God.
